Amorella

Hi Mary,
<snip> I wanted to let you know that my Amorex filly, Amorella (Ella for short), is doing very well and is a pretty big girl at almost 4 months. In the middle of September we took her to the NEDA Fall Fesitval where she did outstanding. I have never shown in had and I more took her for the experience of the trailering, being away from home, the show setting, getting braided etc. and she has a wonderful, calm, positive personality that really stood out during the couple of days we were there. She also ended up with pretty good scores (she has a very nice trot!!). Her mom must have been channeling her racing days because she got very jacked up and excited but Ella took it all in stride despite her mom's antics. I think though due to her mom's jumping around, Ella might not have shown as well as she could have but here's the results;
Fillies - Weanlings                                  2nd place (out of two) - Scores 76.8
IBC - Swedish Warmblood                       1st place (out of two) - Scores 72.1
NE Sport Horse Breeders' Futurity            2nd place (out of 8?) - Score 76.8
I was blown away with her Reserved Champion in the Futurity class, there were some really nice horses in that class!!
So you will be receiving a check for $200 as the stallion owner! I hope to get some good pictures that I will forward to you also.
This was the first Breed show for me too so we are still learning and taking it all in but it was a great experience!
Hope all is well on the Farm. Let Amorex know what a great baby girl he has:-)
All the Best!
Kristina

What has Altair won? Let me count the ways...We are incredibly proud of Amorex's first approved stallion son. At his SWB foal inspection, Altair was 25 points and the Swedish judges said they would like to see him as a stallion prospect later, and please don't geld him. As a foal, Altair won the B.C. Sporthorse Grand Championship against horses of all ages. He came back as a yearling, and was named Grand Champion again, at the B.C. Championship. As at two-year old, he was invited to be inspected by the Canadian Warmblood Breeders Association, and was approved at age two.Then as a three year old,he came back and won the B.C. Grand Championship again, and the Governor's Trophy!

Ari (reg. name Aminal),Diploma in Dressage

View

Ari was the first Amorex baby to be awarded Diploma in the Young Horse Riding test. Awarded 50 points, he was the highest score in the riding test for 2004. 8 on type, 8 on suitability, 9 on all three gaits.

Bred by Johanna Kern, Meadow Brook Stock Farm in Montana. Veterinarian Lori Lauver was looking for a young horse that would have the talent to excel in dressage; she asked her trainer, S judge Trip Harting, to help her evaluate the videos. As soon as they saw the colt from Montana, Trip said "this is the one".

Lori and I have gotten to be good friends as she e-mails me her adventures showing Ari in the Los Angeles area. Here's what she said in January:"I'm having so much fun! with Ari - trail ride, arena ride, show - you name it - he's comfortable with it.  the only thing we don't do is drive and jump.  He learns so quickly and is so steady and safe - imagine taking a 4 year old alone on the trail and cantering along."  More >>

Kailee - darling, big 2006 filly sired by Amorex. Her dam is our beloved Debatress, exceptional TB mare, premium AHHA. Kailee has had aninteresting, tough time. Her dam Debatress had a major leg infection, and we didn't know if she would live to foal her baby. Valentine was a beautiful swedish warmblood colt, and a stallion prospect. Sired by Amorex, his dam Sophia is an imported diploma mare by Ganesco. Valentine is probably the closest to an Amorex clone that I have bred, except that he has his own delightful personality. Owned by Emily Briggs, he was sadly lost to colic.
